Recovered Stolen Motor Vehicle

Yesterday, we told you about a vehicle that was stolen after it was left running unoccupied in front of a business in Broad Brook earlier in the week.

This vehicle was recovered yesterday after an officer on proactive patrol spotted it parked in front of the Eagle’s Nest Pawn Shop.

The individual who drove the vehicle to Eagle’s Nest was located inside the business, attempting to sell brand new household goods. These items were determined to be stolen from Walmart. Inside the vehicle we found a large amount of meat and seafood on ice and laundry detergent. We determined these items had just been stolen from the Big Y in Enfield. In total, about $900 worth of stolen items were recovered and we were able to return the stolen vehicle to its owner.

Proactive policing keeps you safe and it is what our officers are doing each day to prevent and solve crimes.
